Anup started his journey in Architecture during his 10th standard in 1994. He started his carrer as an Architectural intern with the Architect who designed his Family home.

​

From this start, he graduated from Hindustan College of Engineering, Chennai, in 2001. He did a solo practice for 2 years from 2001 to 2003, further he completed his Master’s in Digital Architecture from School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University Chennai in 2005.

For Anup, Architecture is about creating an experience, the envelope of build and natural elements are  that brings the experience together. Anup graduated from London School of Economics (LSE) London in  2006.

Anup moved to India in 2008, after working in different projects and mediums, he started his own practices Space Perception and Design Build Inc in 2012 in Bangalore.

Design that works is at the core of his philosophy. Focusing on end user analysis, understanding the purpose of the space leading to objectives of design.

The practice over time has been recognized in residential and commercial sector. Projects include Innovation center to Novo Nordisk, Coorg Wilderness Resorts, Shoba Restoplus Showrooms, Independent Villas and  Apartments.

Anup’s area of interest is "The impact of construction industry in Global warming". This involves research in designing for climatic conditions, methods of construction and building materials.

A Civil engineer by profession, George started his Journey in the Civil foundation industry.

He was partner of his family business Unidec foundations, a specialized firm dealing in foundation systems based in Kochi, Kerala.

He constructed and sold about 2 lakh square feet of residential and commercial space in his brand Uni housing projects, between 2000 and 2003 in Kochi.

After a brief stint in Reliance projects, George took the role of delivering the" The Paul Hotel" in Bangalore.

George along with Anup started Space Perception and Design Build Inc in Bangalore in 2012.

​

Over time the firm has won many accolades. With George's passion in Civil detailing and Landscape design, Space perception has been rooted in reality, giving pragmatic design solutions.
